Step 1: Eligibility Check
- For UG courses like B.Tech, candidates must have passed Class 12 (10+2) with at least 60% aggregate, including PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics).
- For PG courses such as M.Tech, MBA, applicants should hold a relevant undergraduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks.
- Specific programs may have additional requirements or entrance tests.
Step 2: Application Submission
- Visit the official merishiksha website
- Create a new account or log in if already registered.
- Fill in the online application form with required personal, academic, and contact details.
- Upload necessary documents such as mark sheets, certificates, photographs, and identity proofs.
- Pay the non-refundable application fee of INR 1,000 through online payment modes.
Step 3: Entrance Exams
- KLU conducts its own entrance exams for various programs:
- KLEEE (Koneru Lakshmaiah Engineering Entrance Examination) for B.Tech programs.
- KLECET for B.Tech lateral entry.
- KLMAT for MBA admissions.
- For some courses, scores from national-level exams like JEE Main, NATA, GATE, or CAT are also accepted.
Step 4: Selection and Counselling
- Shortlisted candidates based on entrance exam scores and/or merit are called for counselling.
- During counselling, candidates must present original documents for verification.
